kinds of color-related terms Hue, Value and Intensity

According to the Prang color has three properties is called the dimension
color, the Hue, Value, and Intensity. Apart from that there are also some theories
about the characteristics of the color you need to know, namely Color original, colors are
Dimmed, and the Family Colors Neutral Colors

A. Hue is the term used to indicate the name of a color,
such as red, blue, and so forth. Prang is classified based on the hue
color into five parts: primary colors, secondary colors between
(Intermediate), tertiary colors and color quarter.

2. Value is a term to indicate a dark or bright colors.
Value is the level or brightness of a color sequence. Value will
distinguish the quality of color brightness levels, for example, distinguish colors
pure red with dark red color (dark) or with the color pink
(Bright). Theoretically level diagram commonly used value is 9
levels, ranging from the brightest (white), through a row of neutral gray, to
to the darkest (black). Denman W. Ross divides this value into the interval
9 steps with a fixed distance and given a numeric symbols. White is numbered
1 and black is numbered 9. neutral gray are numbered 2 to 8, with the number
5 as the most neutral.
When the second dimension is incorporated into the color scheme of the circle, then the color
will change the scale gradually, with the highest score in
peak and the lowest or darkest at the bottom. When a color
will produce colors plus white to be bright, whereas when
plus black will produce a darker color. So, every wana be
changed its value, with the most neutral value lies in the fifth row.

3. Intensity, which explains the dimension is clear or a color or kusamnya
a character who claimed strength or weakness of color, emittance
color and color purity. The intensity of the color quality that causes
colors were talking, screaming, or whispered in a soft tone. Two color
may be the same name, for example, red, and its value may be the same, but
may be different in terms of intensity or strength, which one might
stronger than the others. Full color intensity will be very interesting
attention or stand out and give a brilliant appearance. Color
subtle low intensity (soft, smooth)
